Service Description

Course Description: This 1-day 12-lead EKG course trains EMS providers to rapidly acquire and interpret ECGs in the field. Focus on identifying life-threatening patterns and making confident prehospital treatment decisions. Skills Covered: * Proper 12-lead placement and acquisition * ECG basics (rate, rhythm, axis) * STEMI recognition and activation * Ischemia and infarction patterns * Common dysrhythmia identification * Artifact recognition and troubleshooting * Clinical correlation and decision-making * Communication of findings to receiving facilities
