Service Description
This two-day Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Provider course is an in-person program designed for healthcare professionals who respond to and manage adult cardiac emergencies. The course is taught in accordance with current American Heart Association guidelines and combines evidence-based instruction with hands-on skills practice and realistic simulation scenarios. Course Schedule Dates: January 3rd & January 4th Time: 0900–1700 each day Location: 8022 San Miguel Canyon Road Prunedale, Ca 93907 Course Content Participants will review and practice: - Recognition and management of cardiac arrest, acute coronary syndromes, and stroke - ACLS treatment algorithms for bradycardia, tachycardia, pulseless arrest, and post–cardiac arrest care - Airway management, oxygenation, and ventilation - IV/IO access and ACLS pharmacology - High-performance team dynamics, leadership, and communication - ECG rhythm recognition and clinical decision-making - Hands-on megacode simulations and team-based resuscitation scenarios Course Format Day 1: Core ACLS concepts, algorithms, ECG interpretation, pharmacology, and skills practice Day 2: Advanced scenarios, megacode testing, team simulations, and written and skills assessments Required Precoursework (Must Be Completed Prior to Class) All students are required to complete the AHA ACLS Precoursework and Self-Assessment before attending class. Proof of completion must be brought to class. AHA ACLS Precoursework & Self-Assessment: https://shopcpr.heart.org/acls-prework Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a 2-year AHA ACLS Provider eCard.
