AHA HeartCode® BLS Provider

Service Description

Please Read First – Online Course Required This course includes a required online learning component that must be completed before attending the in-person skills sign-off. Students must complete the American Heart Association HeartCode® BLS Online course, which is purchased separately through the AHA website for $37. The online portion is not included in the skills session fee and must be completed in advance so you can get the most out of your hands-on skills evaluation. AHA HeartCode® BLS Online (Required): https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls AHA HeartCode® BLS Online course completion certificate MUST be printed and brought to class. The AHA BLS Provider Skills Sign-Off is the in-person, hands-on portion of the American Heart Association’s blended learning BLS program. This session is designed for healthcare professionals who have completed the HeartCode® BLS Online course and are ready to demonstrate their skills in a supportive, instructor-led environment. During the skills session, you’ll practice and be evaluated on high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, bag-mask ventilation, and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction, all following the most current AHA Guidelines. Our instructors are there to guide you, answer questions, and help you feel confident in your lifesaving abilities. Once you’ve successfully completed the skills evaluation and we’ve verified your HeartCode® BLS Online completion certificate, you’ll receive your American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years. This blended format is a great option for busy healthcare professionals who appreciate the flexibility of online learning combined with a focused, efficient in-person skills check.
