12 Lead EKG March 30 9-5

At the conclusion of this course the active participant shall demonstrate through oral, practical/written evaluation ability to:
Describe the derivation of standard 12 ECG leads, including electrode placement, polarity and views of the heart
Critically analyze PQRST complexes for abnormalities
Recognize and describe the management of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)
Recognize and describe the management of Non ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI)
Describe ECG features of: ischemia, injury, infarction, bundle branch blocks, hemiblocks, pericarditis, and electrolyte and drug effects.
Interpret five 12-lead ECGs.
Identify conditions that can mimic or conceal STEMI
